1. Barcelona: Start your day with a visit to Gaudi’s “acid trip” Park Guell in Barcelona. This guy’s crazy! Then walk over to the Sagrada Familia for the awe inspiring church brought to us by aliens (just kidding!), and have a delicious lunch of tapas in the Gothic neighborhood.

2. Madrid: Make your way to the capitol, Madrid! City of 3 great museums and royal palaces. This is the “cool” capitol of world class arts. And after the sun sets, the nightlife here is almost as exciting as Barcelona’s! You be the judge.

3. Toledo: Next up is the imperial city, the church capitol of Spain, Toledo. Make your way through little alley ways to unique shops. The city itself is a museum, no need for a real one. A definite blast from the past.

4. Seville: Sevilla is the place for classic Spain. The home of bull fighting and flamenco dance! Here’s a fair warning though, bull fighting gets a little graphic. We dare you.

5. Cordoba: Take a 45 minute fast train to Cordoba. You cannot miss seeing the Mosqueta. IT. IS. WORTH. IT. What’s a Mesquita you ask? It’s the beautiful mosque with the red arches you’ll see on most of your tourist brochures. It’s worth the trip.

6. Granada: Next up, Grenada! Must see – Alhambra. But first, you have to be sure to buy your tickets online! Words cannot explain how awesome this place is so make sure you see it with your own eyes.

7. Valencia: Ready for some beach time? Then move on to Valencia, the city of arts and sciences. Beaches & arts…what more can one ask for??

8. San Sebastian: The next stop is a town you have to visit to “feel” its power: San Sebastian the Basque country. It is filled with people and a language that is very different from anything you will have seen before.

9. Santiago de Compestela: Moving on, you will want to embark on “The Walk of Saint James” in Santiago de Compostela to see the cathedral. WOW. When you see it, you will understand. Such an amazing experience!

10. Salamanca: The final stop on our list…Salamanca, a great university town. Here is your challenge. Locate the frog on top of a skull in the wall of artwork. If you find it, you will have good luck on your next exam.
