German Basic Verbs: Some basic verbs to help you get around

 

The verb “to be” Sein: The most important verb in German and personal pronouns

ich – I, du – you (informal), Sie – you (formal), er – he, sie – she, es – it, wir -we, ihr – you guys (informal), Sie – you guys (formal), sie – they. Sein: to be… Ich bin – I am, du bist – you are, Sie sind – you are (formal), er ist – he is, sie ist – she is, es ist – it is, wir sind – we are, ihr seid – you guys are (informal), Sie sind – you guys are (formal), sie sind – they are.
