Numbers, counting, days of the week, months of the year, these are all of vital importance to any tourist or anyone wanting to learn a language. They are sometimes taken for granted when you study languages, but take it from me. After mistaking Monday for Tuesday and having to beg to get on a flight back to Buenos Aires one night, you do not make that mistake again. So here goes!

From Berlin learn the days of the week, months and holidays in German. Monday – Montag, Tuesday – Dienstag, Wednesday – Mittwoch, Thursday – Donnerstag, Friday – Freitag, Saturday – Samstag/Sonnabeng, Sunday – Sontag.
