Thinking about visiting Greece? Watch this video before you leave so you know what to expect! In this video I explain 5 things that you will love about Greece and 5 things that will hate (although it was hard to think of things that you will hate!).

Five Things You Will Hate About Visiting Greece:
1. The Strikes – whether it is the subway, museums or other facilities the strikes that paralize Greece can paralize your vacation. So keep up to date on the situation in Greece and your hotel will be glad to inform you and help you out.
2. Driving in greece on the little roads and with the crazy drivers.
3. Lack of public transport outside the big cities.
4. The shops closing in the afternoon.
5. Having to drink non-Greek beer.
The Five Things You Will Love About Visiting Greece
1. The food – Greek food is amazing and if you ever get to eat it made by a Yiaya (Grandma) prepare to be fed until you explode (from food and happiness).
2. The crazy Greeks! the People are amazing in Greece, friendly and helpful (even if they strike sometimes).
3. Island hopping – Seeing the islands is a must for any visit to Greece.
4. Visiting the villages and seeing the “real” Greece – Athens is one thing, but to see the real Greece to try to visit some smaller villages and ask friends back home if they have some family still in Greece. Go visit them and be prepared to go into full emersion Greek culture.
5. The history and ruins around the country – It’s Greece. The birthplace of democracy and so much more. Just check out the ruins of Hercules, Zeus, Athena and so much more.
